DESCRIPTION:A CELEBRATION OF THE ART & DESIGN OF THE AUTOMOBILE\nCreate your memories at the Des Moines Concours d’Elegance™\, a premier automotive exhibition held at the internationally recognized John and Mary Pappajohn Sculpture Park in downtown Des Moines. The Concours presents an exhibition of vintage and classic motor vehicles\, selected to celebrate the fine art\, design evolution and amazing innovations of motor vehicles through the years\, as well as the talented designers and engineers who created them. This exhibition is a free event. \nPorsche fanatics will find both our very own PCA Schonesland Region display and in an incredible 15-car Porsche 911 exhibit\, representing 9 generations of the world’s most iconic sports car. \n  \nFRIDAY\, SEPTEMBER 6TH\n3rd Annual Des Moines Concours Charity Gala\nSeptember 6th will be a really fun\, quality evening at the fabulous Stine Barn\, located at 4000 Turnberry Drive\, West Des Moines. The event runs from 5:30 to 9:00 pm with a Silent Auction and a program. Get more information HERE \n  \nSATURDAY\, SEPTEMBER 7TH\n2024 Heartland Driving Tour – starts at 7:30 am \nThe 2024 Heartland Driving Tour takes drivers back in time along an historic highway and through Iowa towns and countryside. Get more information HERE \n  \nSUNDAY\, SEPTEMBER 8TH\n10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Des Moines Concours d’Elegance at the Pappajohn Sculpture Park in Des Moines (Grand and Locust between 12th and 16th Streets). \n\nExhibit of more than 150 cars\nMidway featuring food\, merchandise and service vendors\nA radio controlled car race track\, photo booth and more for the entire family!\nCar Clubs from Des Moines area showcase cars from members (west of 16th Street on Grand)\n\n  \nPlease check the Des Moines Concours Facebook feed for the most current information.
