DESCRIPTION:Schonesland’s Night at the Ballpark event will be held Friday\, May 30th @ 6:00pm \nWe have 150 reserved seats\, so feel free to bring your kids and grandkids if you would like. This is being planned as a family-friendly event! \n  \nEach seat\, regardless of attendee age\, is $33 and includes: \n\nReserved seating in Section 11\, near the covered Mezzanine\, right behind home base: Seating Map\nOur seats are towards the back of the section\, which will provide us with shade and easy access to our food and ballpark amenities\nPrivate BBQ picnic buffet offering brisket\, pulled pork\, hot dogs (gotta have those!)\, potato salad\, potato chips\, soda\, and water\nBeer\, cocktails\, popcorn\, and snacks can be purchased separately from concessions or from the roaming vendors\nFireworks at the end of the game\n\n  \nWhat to Expect: \n\nPlease plan to arrive right at 6pm\, when the doors open. Our food service is scheduled from 6pm-7pm. After 7pm\, when the game starts\, it will be gone\nProceed to the Will Call Desk\, near Gate B. They will have a list of our registered guests\, along with the number of tickets for each group. You will then be provided with wristbands and your tickets\nParking is general admission\, so yet another good reason to come early. If this event is a success\, maybe we will rent suites someday\, which would allow us priority parking. We’re testing the waters this year\nThe ballpark is cashless and does have a clear bag policy. DESCRIPTION:Please arrive at the Hotel Renovo lobby with a full tank of gas by 7:30 am. Additionally\, there is a maximum of twenty cars for this tour. \nSchoneslanders have been driving the Loess Hills Scenic Byway since 2009.  It’s long been one of our most popular trips. Why\, you ask?  Because the roads are just so damn good!  These scenic\, thrilling roads are only two hours from Central Iowa via Highway 44\, which itself is loaded with sweeping curves and majestic vistas.  This is one day of total bliss behind the wheel of your Porsche that will have you feeling exhilarated as you arrive in Sioux City\, just in time to watch the Kentucky Derby with your Schonesland friends. \nThe big change to this year’s plan is a new location for lodging and dinner. The Warrior Hotel in downtown Sioux City is a historic grand hotel that has been restored to its legendary Art Deco interior with luxurious finishes throughout.  Click on the link to see photos of this fabulous property. There is a block of 20 rooms at a fantastic rate of only $149 per night-you’ll see that’s a bargain when you see your room. Hotel reservations can be made by clicking on this this link. \nWe will have cocktails and dinner in the majestic Woodbury dining room.  After dinner\, you can party in the main bar or venture 12 stories above to the rooftop bar\, with beautiful views of the city and the Missouri River. DESCRIPTION:As always\, The 2025 MadWarren drive kicks off another exceptional Schonesland driving season. This event is open only to the Schonesland Porsche Cub members; registration is limited to a maximum of 40 cars. \nThis year\, the route will be run in the original direction\, running from Madison County to Warren County. With some very subtle tweaks\, it should be one of the best season openers to date! Join us at the Hotel Renovo at 7:30 with a full tank of gas. We will have our driver’s meeting at 8 with the first group departing at 8:30 followed by the remaining groups in 15 minute intervals. \nPer popular demand\, the lunch spot will remain at Pyra Pizzeria in Norwalk with groups arriving between 11:30 and 12:15. Pizza comes out very quickly at Pyra\, so you will be able to have a quick lunch and move onto the rest of your afternoon. You can reserve your spot on our MotorsportReg page here. \nThis year’s event will be held Saturday\, December 7th\, once again at Noce in downtown Des Moines\, in their Backstage Event area: https://www.nocedsm.com/private-events. \nCharcuterie and drinks (cash bar) will begin at 5:30PM\, followed by a dinner buffet at 7PM. After dinner\, a dessert buffet and coffee service will be offered as well. \nNoce does not have its own parking lot\, but at that time of day plenty of spaces should be available on the street and in the parking lot that was formerly Ford & Garland’s\, directly across the street. Additionally\, the Nationwide parking garage at 12th and Walnut (a little over a block away) is free and available for parking at all hours. \nDue to limited space\, this event will be capped at 100 participants\, so make sure and register early! \nCost is $70 per person.

DESCRIPTION:Registration ends in 5 months at September 22\, 2024 11:59 PM CDT \n\nClick here to register on MotorsportReg! \nOpen only to Schonesland Porsche Club Members. \n“Wisconsin Fall Drive Reimagined” \nThis is a Fall driving tour in parts of Wisconsin and Minnesota. This is a three-night event with one night in Prairie du Chien followed by two nights in Onalaska (La Crosse). If you are unable to start the tour on Thursday mid-morning\, you can join the group Thursday night in Prairie du Chien or in Onalaska on Friday night\, but you would miss some truly phenomenal roads and wonderful time with your fellow Schoneslanders. \nThe PCA event formally starts Thursday at 9:30 am from the Ankeny Casey’s at 2601 SE Creekview Dr\, with a great lunch stop in Grundy Center at the Landmark Bistro followed by an afternoon break at Pedretti’s Bakery in Elkader. After the bakery stop\, we will have another fantastic stop in Elkader to see Tom Chandlers very eclectic car collection including a few cars that have been to the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance as well as to the Amelia Island Concours! We will then continue the drive to Prairie du Chien followed with dinner at the wonderful Angie’s Black Angus restaurant where we have enjoyed great food and service for the many past years during the Wisconsin Fall drive. We will stay on Thursday night 10/3 at the River District hotel where we have a block of rooms at a rate of $159.99. Please make your reservation by calling the hotel at 608-326-7878 and ask for the rooms under the Schonesland Porsche Club room block.  \nOn Friday morning we will take the roads towards La Crosse driving along the same roads we have done in the past but going in the opposite direction. We will have lunch in Camp Douglas at the Almost Home Bar and Grill as before and then continue to Onalaska for our two-night stay at the Hampton Inn. King Bedrooms are $159 and ones with two Queen Beds are $169. We will drive through the fantastic curves and elevations in Wildcat Mountain State Park before enjoying lunch at the Rockton Bar in La Farge. Friday and Saturday nights we will have dinner in two groups at Ciatti’s Italian Grill and at Manny’s Cocina swapping locations the second night. Both restaurants are across the parking lot from our hotel. The PCA sanctioned drive ends on Saturday and return on Sunday is not part of the formal event as everyone can return home to Des Moines on their own whether driving alone or in groups.

She was the first female president of Schonesland PCA. Everyone knew Mary Alice! She was always there with a smile\, laugh\, or ear to listen! \nThe format will be a poker run so you can go at your own pace. \nWe’ll depart from the AMC movie theater near our Cars & Coffee location in Johnston. We’ll do a driver’s meeting at 9:00AM to be on the road by 9:30AM. We’ll conclude the run (and see who got the best hand) at lunch at Smokey D’s BBQ. \nCost per hand played is $20. All monies raised will be donated to Big Sisters which was MA’s favorite charity. \nIf you would like to add to the club’s donation to Big Sisters\, but are not able to participate or do not want to purchase additional hands\, our Venmo is @SchoneslandPorscheClub (or search Schonesland under Business on Venmo) and be sure to put MA Hill in the comments so we know that money is to be donated. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nEvent requirements\n\nPrice per hand played is $20.
