Welcome! The Schonesland Region of the Porsche Club of America just wrapped up celebrating our 50th year as a club and even if life is a bit slower here in central Iowa, our cars aren’t. No matter your background or familiarity, we share your passion for all things Porsche – it doesn’t matter if it’s nostalgia for a vintage 356 or the exhilaration of a new GT3 or Taycan. You will find no shortage of enthusiasm among our members. Our roots go back to 1975, when Porsche enthusiasts in Iowa chartered the club giving it the name Schönesland, meaning “Beautiful Land” in German. Today the club boasts nearly 350 members and recently has been among the fastest growing region in Zone 10. There’s never been a better time to join us!

February 28, 2026: Welcome back to what may very well be Schonesland’s most exciting year yet! Our full-year 2026 calendar has been set, with even more than ever on offer for our members. 7 of our driving tours have already been opened for registration. Notably, along with such incredibly robust growth in our membership and participation, some of our drives this year have already been scheduled twice back-to-back to accommodate interest. Spots are disappearing fast, so grab yours before registrations close!
