June 21st is the Annual Schonesland Club Dragoon Trail drive. This event is open only to Schonesland Porsche Cub members.
The Dragoon Trail follows the path of the 1st U.S. Dragoons, cavalry soldiers who scouted Iowa in 1835 after the Black Hawk Purchase put the area under U.S. government control. The trail itself roughly tracks along the course of the Des Moines River from Fort Dodge through Des Moines to Knoxville and Lake Red Rock.
Our Drive: We will depart following Cars & Coffee at Cozy Cafe and drive to Fort Dodge where we will be having lunch at Amigo’s located at 280 N 1st St, Fort Dodge, IA 5050.
Driver’s meeting @ 9:15 with the first group scheduled for an 9:30 departure. The drive route will be posted on Ride With GPS, and also paper copies will be available the day of the event.
